 Scarlet’s debut single ‘Cash Out Reloaded’ was an instant hit in Nigeria. The song was made in collaboration with Nigerian hard hitters Rayce and Entertainment Mogul Suni Osorun, CEO of Black Wall Street Records. Cash Out circulated heavily on radio, got press in the largest Nigerian Newspapers  and got TV placements on HipTV, SoundCity TV, Nigerian local cable channels and MTV Base West. The song reached reached number 12 on the SoundCity countdown show which is where viewers of the channel request their favorite songs.

After the success of ‘Cash Out Reloaded’, Scarlet was asked to perform immediately, but had just left the country. Scarlet proceeded to do over the phone radio interviews while the single was still being heavily played. The people of Nigeria wanted more and so the release of Scarlet’s 2nd single “Over it” ft Nigerian afro-fusion artist Yoyo Ovi was brought forward and released on Scarlet’s birthday, 6th September 2024.

The momentum was building and more requests came in for Scarlet to go back to Nigeria to perform but prior UK and European commitments meant she was unable to despite wanting to. This prompted the New Years Eve release of 3rd single “Running Away”. One of Scarlet’s personal favorites due to it’s message of perseverance and hope, a nod to the ancestors and written as a support system for those struggling in any capacity including with mental health (Something Scarlet Advocates)
